BayernLB, London.

Lighting Design for Sophisticated Workplace.

Project Summary:

Location: London
Sector: Office
Value: £15K
Duration: 4 Months
Client: J Dunton Associates
Architect: HLW Architects

299 Lighting worked alongside J Dunton Associates and HLW Architects to provide a lighting design scheme for BayernLB’s new office.

Their office is situated in Moor House, one of London’s most prestigious architectural buildings, and is located on the northern edge of the financial district.

The new office layout contains multiple meeting rooms, funky break out areas, branding walls with accents of colour and ‘meet and greet’ areas, all reflective of modern offices of today.

299 Lighting supplied the Leck LED linear profile to be recessed into the ceiling as continuous lines of light. Several runs were installed in multiple areas including 3 meeting rooms, the ‘meet and greet’ corridor and above the branding wall. The trimless profiles were installed flush within the ceiling creating an almost invisible source of light.

We also supplied the Xicato LED downlights which were installed in the circulation areas, meeting rooms and corridors. They were specified with a white bezel finish to match the ceilings, which again creates an invisible light source flush effect. The emergency lighting was also supplied by 299, including bulkheads and stand alone units.

The products were supplied in several phases, on schedule with the contractors works and to the satisfaction of the client.
