The Bristol light engineers- designing and supplying bespoke commercial lighting from our Brislington showroom since 2009.
We are 299 Lighting- a Bristol commercial lighting design and supply company based in Brislington. For seventeen years we've worked alongside top architects, interior designers, M&E consultants and fit out contractors to deliver lighting schemes that are designed, made and installed properly.
We also work directly with the people who run the buildings- small office owners, retailers, barber shops, schools and universities - anyone who wants their space to look right and feel right.
Trusted by architects, Interior designers, M&E consultants & fit-out contractors across Bristol & the South West.
Bristol Lighting Schemes Delivered
Over 100 successfully completed schemes across Bristol and the South West make us one of the region's most recognised commercial lighting companies. From visitor centres and small office studios through to major refurbishments and new-build schemes, we've put our mark on some of the most prestigious projects in the city.
What we Design and Supply
We design, specify & supply everything from standard luminaires to complex bespoke systems. We love the large commercial schemes that need close collaboration with architects, M&E consultants and main contractors — and we equally enjoy the smaller creative work- studios, showrooms and retail fit-outs where the lighting is the core of the design.
Visit our Bristol lighting showroom
At our Bristol showroom, clients and specifiers can experience our products first-hand, including technical and decorative commercial pendants, linear lighting, acoustic systems, and bespoke architectural pieces. Bring a brief, a drawing, or just a question, and we'll set aside time to walk you through it.
Trusted by

Solving lighting problems for everyone.
We work with the full Bristol commercial lighting picture — the architects and interior designers shaping the space, the M&E consultants engineering it, the fit-out contractors building it, and the end clients who'll switch the lights on every morning. Small office owners, restaurants and hospitality venues, schools and colleges, gyms, retailers, barber shops and salons — they all get the same care as our biggest project clients.
Some schemes run for months and need close collaboration with multiple professional teams. Others are smaller and faster, and just need someone who knows the products, the regulations and the South West suppliers. As lighting consultants, we speak the specifier's language fluently — and we're just as happy to walk a café owner or a school's facilities lead through the choices, one luminaire at a time.
