Shoreditch High Street is home to many vibrant and creative work hubs. The spirit of the area reflects on the rich history of clothing, furniture, and printing. Shoreditch is becoming a synonym for trendy offices, showrooms and bustling city life.
Our team has been involved in several high-quality projects in this trendy part of the city. The recent addition to our ‘Shoreditch project gallery’, is 141-143 Shoreditch High Street development.

We worked alongside Patalab Architecture to supply office lighting for a Cat A refurbishment of this unique 4 storey building. Our team was involved in the design process from the initial stages all the way to completion. A full lighting design and calculations were produced to support the architect and samples of the luminaires were provided to the design team to be signed off.
The design brief for 141-143 Shoreditch High Street was to create a street presence and a new identity for the refurbished building. This has been achieved by the distinct design of the main staircase and exposed atrium, a highly creative design, much in keeping with the trendy Shoreditch area.
The new office space was calling out for modern LED office lighting, in line with the high standard of the refurbishment project.

To enhance the industrial heritage of the building, the architect selected a slightly wider liner lighting profile for this project. The Leam Suspended LED was specified for the main office lighting and used on all floors. The building benefits from high ceilings and plenty of daylight. The modern design of the Leam LED contributes to the ‘raw’ stripped-back look of the interior featuring the exposed bricks and visible services.
With its increased efficiency it represents a new generation for modern office luminaires and mimics the ability of fluorescent T5 lighting to distribute light direct/-indirect from a single source. Leam can be used as a standalone luminaire or as part of an interconnected linear lighting system.
